Linda Condon

I have always looked at the world fascinated by the way light, texture and color play with nature.  I remember as a child, traveling win my family on vacation, staring out the window, wanting to remember the way every tree looked, how the sun played off the clouds, fascinated by every vista, never wanting to miss anything.

I was born in Foxboro, MA, but have lived in many other places including: Colorado, Colombia, Virginia, Vermont, Connecticut, and finally, Cape Cod.  I have a degree in Elementary Education from the UMass, Amherst and spent two years in the Peace Corps in Colombia.

My creative journey started later in life, first with landscape quilting, and then painting.  I loved the creative freedom that painting affords.  Upon retiring in 2020, I joined the Cultural Center of Cape Cod and the Yarmouth Art Guild.  I have exhibited my artwork at Farmington Vally Arts Center in Avon, CT., the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, South Dennis Public Library, Brewster Ladies Library, Yarmouth Town Hall and the South Yarmouth Library.
