"Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life" - Pablo Picasso

My love for art and painting began during my college years while visiting the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Gardner Museum.  With no formal background or training, I became a "Pandemic Watercolorist" and I now am pursuing my love of painting en plain air and in my home studio.  I find the process of painting to be both therapeutic and exhilarating!

My artwork includes seascapes, landscapes, semi-abstracts, florals and animals - mostly in watercolors and some mixed-media, as well as acrylic, gouache, pastels and alcohol ink.  My work is influenced by the impressionist masters and by contemporary watercolorists.

I am currently the 2nd Vice President and an active member of the Guild of Harwich Artists, a member of the Cape Cod Art Center in Barnstable, a juried member of the Cotuit Center for Creative Arts and a member of a number of local Cape Cod Painting Groups.

I am honored to share my artwork and passion for art with you.
