Leslie Altman

Leslie Altman began painting in retirement at the suggestion of a friend who recommended taking a class and she immediately fell in love with watercolor. Leslie's landscapes attempt to capture a mood through color and light.  Her subjects include Cape Cod scenes, as well as images from her travels and from still life.  Leslie also works in alcohol ink and giclee prints are available of many of her paintings.

Leslie works in her studio in Yarmouth Port and en plein air. Her work has been exhibited in local galleries including the Cape Cod Art Center, the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, the Cape Cod Art Museum and the Chatham Creative Arts Center.  Award winning paintings include "Bone Hill Road," Misty Morning," and "Ariel's Swing,"  and more of her paintings can be viewed on her personal website:  lesliealtmanart.com.
